How much food do I get?

At Kale to the Chef, we prepare our meals family style. We offer most menu items in two sizes: Regular & Large. Order just enough to enjoy once, or enough to have leftovers for a few days. It is completely up to you! Please email us if you need more help.

Full Portion Size = 6 Servings

1/2 Portion Size = 3 Servings

Do you require a subscription ?

Kale to the Chef does not require a subscription or membership. You can simply order as often or little as you would like.  However, we do offer a rewards program to thank our loyal & frequent clients.

How does the delivery process work?

We deliver meals on Sundays & Mondays.

Sunday delivery is for all clients that live in Atlanta. We deliver on Sunday to avoid traffic. Delivery time is between 7:00 - 8:30 pm. We also deliver to some Newnan, Sharpsburg, & North Fayette addresses on this day. If this is your first time ordering, please contact us to see where your delivery would best fit.

Monday delivery is for all local clients that live in Peachtree City, Fayetteville, Newnan, Sharpsburg, Tyrone & parts of Senoia.  Delivery time is between 5:00 -7:00 pm. 

We will deliver your meals in a cooler bag with your name on it. We drop the bag on your doorstep & text you that your food has been delivered. Please opt-in to our new text notification system for more real time delivery communications.

The next time you order, we will send you a reminder to put your empty bag out for us to pick up. The containers cannot be returned due to food safety regulations. Please recycle or reuse the containers!

Also, our delivery drivers are incredible! Tips are not required but very appreciated. If you choose to leave a tip, simply place it in your empty cooler bag that is ready for pickup. Please make sure to have your name displayed on the tip so that we can assure it is given to the appropriate driver.

Can I pick up my meals?

Yes! You can pick up your meals on Sundays between 6:00 -7:00 pm & on Mondays between 6:00 - 7:00 pm. Choose your desired pick up day during the ordering process.

What If I have Special Dietary Needs?

Here in the Kale To The Chef kitchen, we pride ourselves on being able to provide clean, nutritious meals that are safe for all your dietary requests & restrictions!

Every week we cook fresh to order for hundreds of happy clients who have various dietary needs. You can rest assured that all requests & allergies are taken very seriously. 

We currently provide these types of food: dairy free, soy free, nut free, shellfish free, gluten free, onion free, low sodium, vegetarian, vegan, keto, & many more! 

Please let us know if you have any allergies or requests when ordering!

We are a mostly gluten free kitchen & are actively working towards becoming a fully gluten free one soon. This means that we choose to use pasta, breads, croutons, rice, etc. that do not contain gluten.  If a customer requests a gluten option specifically, we can prepare this separately at request to prevent any cross contamination.

Kale To The Chef sources local ingredients whenever possible! We work daily to develop new relationships with farmers & other local businesses to support.

Food Safety & Freezing Tips

Shelf Life: With the exception of Seafood Entrees, all other meals, soups, salads, & sides are good to eat when kept in the refrigerator until dinner on Friday. Seafood dishes should be enjoyed by dinner on Wednesday.

Tips for Freezing, Thawing and Reheating Meals: Freezing meals is a great way to enjoy Kale to the Chef meals even after the normal shelf life passes. In order to have the greatest success freezing, thawing, & reheating meals follow these easy steps:

1) Cover containers with a food safe wrap. This step will ensure your meal is kept as fresh as possible & prevents freezer burn.

2) Place the container into your freezer.

3) To thaw, remove meal from freezer & move to your refrigerator 24 hours prior to when you'd like to enjoy. DO NOT thaw at room temp.

4) Put meal in oven safe dish & reheat at 300 degrees until it is an internal temperature of 165 degrees.

Note: you may need to add a bit more time OR increase the temperature if your meal did not thaw completely over the previous 24 hours.

TIP: The sooner your meal is frozen, the more fresh it will be after it's thawed and reheated!

Please Note: We do prepare foods in our kitchen that contain ingredients that are linked to common allergens: NUTS, EGGS, SOY, SHELLFISH, GLUTEN, & MILK. Please let us know in advance & we can make accommodations for your needs.

Is Requested Delivery Window Scheduled Upon Checkout Guaranteed?

The delivery window that you are promoted to choose during our online checkout process is simply a guideline & is NOT guaranteed.

If you have a special request for your delivery time, please email us at! Whenever possible, we will try to accommodate your requests. Additional delivery fees may be applied for rushed delivery, specialized delivery times, etc.
